But the Coachella Valley is small, and Flow is a short drive from just about anywhere in it. Families from La Quinta, Palm Desert, Coachella, Bermuda Dunes, Indian Wells, and Rancho Mirage train with us every week.
The reason they make the trip is simple: Flow isn't a franchise or a big-box gym running martial arts on the side. It's a dedicated academy led by Professor Carlos Miller, a 4th-degree black belt with 29+ years on the mats, with a real curriculum, real coaches, and a room where beginners are genuinely welcome. That's worth a few extra minutes in the car.

What martial arts can I train at Flow Academy?
We teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Gi and No-Gi for kids and adults, Muay Thai for youth and adults, Friday adult MMA, and a Saturday Open Mat from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Beginners are welcome in every program.
Do you have classes for both kids and adults?
Yes. Kids and youth train Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai in age-grouped classes, and adults have Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Friday MMA, and Saturday Open Mat. Whole families train at Flow, often on the same nights.
Is the first class really free?
Yes — your first class is free. Come in, meet the coaches, and try a session before you decide. Just wear comfortable workout clothes and bring water; no uniform needed to try it.
