Forty-Five Minutes in the Limitless Room
September 22, 2026
Flow Limitless starts Thursday, October 1 at 3:15 PM — nine days from now. It’s a brand-new class on our Indio schedule, which means no family in the Coachella Valley has walked in and watched one yet. So here’s the room ahead of time, in order.
What a class is actually like is the thing parents ask us about more than anything else. The honest answer is that most of what happens in forty-five minutes would look unremarkable from the doorway. That’s the point.
Before 3:15
Doors open early and there’s seating right at the edge of the mat. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay for the whole class — nobody has to drop off and leave. Shoes come off at the mat. We train barefoot, and grip socks are fine if bare feet aren’t going to work. No uniform needed for a first visit: clothes your kid can move in and a water bottle.
Students who use a wheelchair train with us in Indio. A mat is a padded surface, so a chair doesn’t roll onto it — that’s a two-minute logistics conversation, not a reason to sit out. Some students transfer onto the mat, some work right at its edge with a coach, and nobody is ever asked to leave their chair.
Call or text us at (951) 337-3781 before you come and tell us what helps your child and what doesn’t — sounds, transitions, touch, breaks, a comfort object. We’d much rather hear it on the phone than find it out on the mat.
3:15 to 3:25
Names first, sitting in a loose circle. The music stays low and the lights stay normal. Warm-up is walking, crawling, rolling and a couple of balance games — no whistle, no counting reps out loud, no line to keep up with. A student who wants to watch the opening from the side watches from the side.
3:25 to 3:50
The middle of class is one or two things, broken small. A coach kneels to eye level and shows the grip twice, slowly, then once more from the other side. Then the student tries it, and the coach adjusts the pace, the number of steps, or how much contact is involved — student by student, right there on the mat.
Across a term, five things keep coming back around:
- Movement and balance
- Fitness and strength
- Simple self-defense fundamentals
- Mindful movement — attention, breathing, a pause when it’s needed
- Community and connection
If a student steps off to the side for a minute, the group keeps going and a coach picks them back up when they come back. That isn’t a disruption here. We plan for it.
3:50 to 4:00
The last ten minutes are a game, then a circle. Every student gets named out loud for something they did that day — a grip they got, a step they held, a turn they took. Then shoes on, and out the door at four.
The Practical Part
Flow Limitless at Indio is for ages 6–17, Thursdays 3:15–4:00 PM, once a week, at 42425 Jackson Street, Suite C112. First class is free and there’s nothing to buy to try it. After that it’s $150 a month, month-to-month — no term contract, no prepay — with 15% off a second child in the same household and 20% off a third.
If October 1 is the Thursday you want, the rest of the detail lives on the Flow Limitless program page, or you can just call us. And if your child isn’t ready to step onto the mat that day, come and watch instead. Plenty of students watch one from the side and join in the next.
